The vision of The Belo Rural Development Project is to eradicate poverty and raise the living standards of the rural population of Cameroon's North West Region.

BERUDEP works to create livelihoods for the rural population through income generating projects aimed at building sustainable community development. BERUDEP is a grass roots organisation whose initiatives stem from local and traditional knowledge, ensuring environmentally and economically sustainable programs. BERUDEP programs include eco-tourism, agriculture, education and health. An organisation run by the poor for the poor... BERUDEP use income generating activities such as bee keeping, soil stabilisation, natural pesticide and composting techniques, vetiver technology, and natural medicinal plants to improve the livelihoods of the rural population.
