Mission Statement


We focus our resources to serve emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of our employees, patients and families with a sense of compassion, urgency and customer service. We will preserve the dignity of death for our patients and families so no one will die alone or in pain. We will create a culture that is dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering which finds expression through the ongoing gentle acts of kindness, sympathy and compassion. We will serve, educate and support our local communities and referral sources as to the benefits, dignity and nobility of end-of-life care.

Description


AseraCare Hospice serves patients and families with terminal illnesses in the Lancaster and Lebanon areas. We are one of several hospices in the area. AseraCare Hospice believes that through compassionate support and the promotion of a caring environment, patients and families may be able to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them. Our hospice team includes doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains and volunteers as well as a bereavement coordinator as part of our program.
