Mission Statement

Artery is an element of the 411 Arts Initiatives, which is an integrated part of the work and mission of The 411 NYC, a non-profit community of faith in New York City. We exist to lessen the gap between faith and creative culture. We do this by encouraging an emerging generation of artists and creatives to seek truth and impact the culture by glorifying God and also by providing a forum for these artists to engage in thought-provoking and spiritual dialogue in relation to their artistic vision, creative culture, and faith.

Description

ARTERY is our annual arts festival week to celebrate the arts in our community. It is a week of events that revolve around a spiritual theme to engage the culture in dialogue about art and spirituality. Events generally feature the following art areas: music, dance, theatre, visual art, fashion, and film. The week features showcase events as well as seminars and workshops.
