Mission Statement

The Mission of AgapeÂ’ Ministries Church of God in Christ, is to use a holistic approach in leading people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to establish them as disciples into the kingdom of God through evangelism, community outreach, preaching, and practical teaching of GodÂ’s Word that they may live a victorious life, in their covenant rights and privileges as children of God. Our continuing desire is to foster wholesome and satisfying relationships within our local body, as well as bringing people to salvation in Jesus Christ, through our corporate and individual witness to a non-Christian world. The name and purpose of this ministry was divinely given to Pastor Daniels while reading John 21:15-19: When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."

Organizational Statement of Faith

Affirmation of Faith We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God. We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross-provided healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is able to live a holy and acceptable life in this present world.
