Description

Advent Group Ministries is a faith-motivated, not-for-profit, social service agency serving at-risk children and their families since 1985. Founded initially as a residential treatment program for adolescents, we have grown to include an outpatient recovery program for teens, a comprehensive family counseling center and a refuge for women with children. Our recovery group homes provide residential treatment to drug and alcohol addicted and emotionally distressed teens. Our outpatient program offers struggling adolescents in-depth recovery and mental health services while they remain in their homes. Our prevention programs are designed to enhance parent-child relationships and prevent substance abuse and other problem behaviors in youth. The Refuge provides a safe home for moms who seek to maintain their sobriety, overcome personal obstacles, become better parents and reunify with their children. The Nest is a safe haven where young girls who have survived human-trafficking can find healing and restoration. Our counseling center seeks to unify and strengthen troubled families and individuals by providing low-cost counseling services to the community.
