Mission Statement
Our mission as an Arts Organization is to provide cultural arts enrichment and awareness to communities throughout the country through the use of education, visual arts, performing arts, conferences, workshops, cultural tours and special events.
Description
AACAA, Inc provides cultural arts enrichment and awareness with an education-through-arts initiative including, workshops, visual arts and performing arts events; conferences, Kwanzaa and an Underground Railroad Walking Tour . The hours are Monday - Thursday from 10AM - 4PM ET (except during special events). Our audience and participants are from a diverse population including youth, adults and seniors. AACAA, Inc a 501 (3) C non-profit was established in 1996 and incorporated in 1997. Founded by family members to provide an African Exchange Program where youth and youth leaders from the U.S. will spend a month in Ghana, West Africa performing and participating in collaborative educational cultural and historical activities. All coordination and implementation of events are volunteer driven.
