Another Hope ChildrenÂ?s Ministries (ACHM) began in 2005 but officially registered in October 2006 as a 
CBO; Reg.NO: WCBO/579/2006. ACHM is renting a home in Nansana East Zone where it gathers children who have no 
home. Also this I where the offices are.

After a careful assessment of the increasing number of orphaned, street children and children from 
impoverished families in Nansana, Wakiso district and around due to HIV/Aids, the war in the Northern part of the country 
and poverty, we realized numerous problems encountered by these children on one hand, and denied rights due to 
the inadequate arrangements to rehabilitate them from streets. We formed AHCM to bring hope to the orphaned, 
street children and children from impoverished families by providing love and care in a Christian environment. 
AHCM is a community based organization dedicated to bringing hope through its educational, health, basic needs 
and Vocational training school programs, aimed at 1,500 children. AHCM is an organization that is committed to 
child development, advocacy and strength-based holistic approach in responding to the problems that face 
vulnerable children of Nansana and the surrounding areas.
