The Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission exists to minister in the name of Jesus Christ to the spiritual and practicial needs of the disadvantaged in the Philadelphia area.
Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission was founded in 1878 and is the 3rd oldest Rescue Mission in the country. Our location at 13th & Vine Streets serves three meals a day and provides shelter for close to 200 men each night, along with a long-term recovery program for men. The mission also has a transitional home for women in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission offers a variety of programs and services to accomplish our mission of providing for the practical and spiritual needs of hungry, homeless and hurting individuals in the Philadelphia area.
