Mission Statement

The Mission of Christian Emergency Network is to rally the greater Christian community to "Be Aware" of potential emergencies whether personal or national in scope, “Be Ready” physically as well as spiritually, and to “Be There” praying, caring and sharing the Hope of Christ with the hopeless; thereby, re-defining emergency response with a Biblical worldview, seizing emergencies as God’s opportunities for Kingdom expansion.

Description

CEN is a communications and collaboration network mobilizing Christians and their churches to be ready to respond to emergencies, big or small. By networking and educating Christians to be aware, ready and there…before, during and after an emergency, CEN is preparing Christians to be a source of comfort and salvation for people during times of crisis. Activated through local chapters, our volunteers work together to create a response plan for their community and network with each other, local government, local churches and others to develop a course of action to take in case of an emergency. By having these plans in place prior to an incident, our local volunteer chapters are able to respond and already have the relationships and criteria to do so.
