Mission Statement


Youth Empowerment for Development Ministries (YEDEM) International is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation and focuses as its target beneficiaries Children and Youths with special emphasis on the girl child, ex-combatants (children and youths), unskilled, unemployed and underdeveloped youths.

Description


YEDEM regularly participates in the following activities: * Run a Vocational and Technical Skills Training Centre. * Establish a Psychosocial Counseling Centre. * Embark on Agro-forestry project as a means of Employment for beneficiaries giving through our psychosocial centre. * Solicit and facilitate Micro-credit for target beneficiaries. * Embark on Anti-drug Abuse Counseling Programmes in Schools, Marketplaces, Displaced Camps etc. * Promote the use of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) for Sustainable Peace and Development. * Create Developmental Opportunities for the Disabled. * Organize Sensitization Campaigns on HIV/AIDS.
