Mission Statement


..the Milwaukee Rescue Mission has maintained a firm commitment to bringing compassionate hope to our city?s disadvantaged and homeless. And now? * Originally, MRM provided shelter solely for homeless men, an outreach continuing today through our Safe Harbor programming. * In 1991, MRM's Joy House opened its doors, offering emergency care for homeless mothers and their children. * In 1992, MRM's addition of academic and recreational programs for inner city youth marked the beginnings of its CrossTrainers program.
