Mission Statement
Our mission is to transfer the lord's message by passing the love of humanity to the world. Helping and supporting those
people who are in great need of help. And create a communal vision by solving disputes and conflicts in the world for
continued peace.
Description
The Action for Peace through Prayer and Aid (APPA) was founded in 1996 by Reverend Sang-Jin Choi of Fourth Street
Fellowship. A church aalso commonly called House of Peace. Reverend Choi, a Korean Mennonite Pastor, saw the issues of poverty
and racism as issues that needed God's social justice. APPA works on fostering racial harmony and promoting the end of
homelessness through several projects locally in Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Georgia.
